About the Course

 

· The Strategies for College Success course has been designed to assist High School students who are interested in going to college and Community College students. For High School students taking the course, it is recommended for 11th and 12th graders. This course was not designed to accommodate the varying needs of special education or non-college bound students.

· It is taught without formal lectures using an approach called Active Discovery and Participations Thru Technology (ADAPT) .

· An instructor is present at all times to assist you.

· You can do most of your coursework (including homework) in class.

· Students who take the course typically increase their GPA for the quarter by over half a letter grade higher than their prior cum (approximately a .5 to .8 increase). Results from one of our member schools.
